Loving the World as Our Own Body: Nature-based Meditation Retreat
Location: Mountain Cloud Zen Center, 7241 Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, NM
Led by Zen teacher David Loy, this nature-based meditation retreat infuses David’s wealth of experience leading nature-based Buddhist retreats into a Zen context, creating a holistic container to deepen into what it means to love the world as our own body.
There will be extended opportunities to practice with the land, explore our oneness with non-human kin, and resource ourselves so we may re-enter the world with clarity, nourishment, and focus needed to support of the liberation of all beings.
David Robert Loy is a professor, writer, and Zen teacher in the Sanbo Zen tradition of Buddhism. He is a prolific author, including Ecodharma: Buddhist Teachings for the Ecological Crisis and one of the founding members of the Rocky Mountain Ecodharma Retreat Center.
