About

Taos MountainLive Taos is your independent voice in Taos arts, entertainment, culture, current events, and more. Whether you live in Taos, want to live in Taos, or like to peer into life in Taos from a safe distance, Live Taos offers fresh, community-sourced content for all comers.

Wondering what to do in Taos TONIGHT? Look no further. Searching for new Taos artists and musicians to fawn over? We bring you frequent interviews with and profiles of local artists and performers. Curious what your friends and neighbors have to say about life in Taos, or what Taosenos have to say about life in general? Live Taos has you covered.

A community-driven platform, Live Taos accepts submissions and content suggestions freely. Our regular content comes from a dedicated and delightful team of local writers. We’re working to build a truly vibrant picture of the scene here in Taos — in a way that is fun, and rewarding, and allows the many talented people here a bigger, better platform to promote their work and art.

Let’s face it, there’s so much going on in Taos that never gets the attention it deserves — and so many fantastic people in Taos that you’ve never met or heard of. We’re out to change that. We’re out to make up for every time you’ve ever said “Holy shit, I had no idea that was even happening here!” We’re out to prove that Taos is even better than we all already think it is.

Want to contribute? We have a standing, open invitation for submissions. Our contributors are local writers, graphic designers, artists, web developers, and musicians, all working together to shine a light on life in Taos. Learn more about how you can contribute!

Want to submit an event to our calendar? We have a super-simple self-submission tool that you can find right here. But don’t forget to check our calendar listings first — we do our best to stay on top of things, and you might find that your event is already up here!

WHOSE FAULT IS ALL THIS?

Over the years, LiveTaos has evolved to become a shared labor of love by many remarkable local voices, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who’s helped keep this project running.

LiveTaos.com was founded by Max Moulton, Kevyn Gilbert, and Rita O’Connell, who are also co-owners of KNCE 93.5FM, TrueTaosRadio.

SPECIAL THANKS:

We are forever grateful to dear friend and marvelous local talent Sarah Hart (creator of the black and white Author Avatars and various LiveTaos logos, graphics, and artwork), spend your money at www.hartprintshop.com.
