Owen Contemporary presents Forged in Sound, an immersive exhibition by artist blacksmith and musician Christopher Thomson. Opening August 1, this show blends hand-forged steel sculpture with original flute improvisations—each piece paired with a QR code linking to music composed by the artist during the forging process. Thomson’s work explores rhythm, transformation, and flow, with forging and flute playing as parallel creative expressions. The result is a rare multi-sensory experience where sculpture and sound are deeply intertwined. Experience it on Canyon Road in Santa Fe.
