On Friday, June 21, at 11am, 7 local writers were each given assignments to write short (10-15 minute) plays.
On Saturday, June 22 at 11am at Taos Mesa Brewing, those plays were handed off to 17 local actors, who had 9 hours to prepare, block, direct, and rehearse before performances started at 8pm.
For one whole day, TMB was filled with excited actors, sleepy writers, and a general air of thespianism. The first annual Teatro Serpiente Gorilla Theater was a big hit, and they’re looking forward to an even bigger and better show next time!
