arts, entertainment, and culture for Taos and northern New Mexico

Hey there! It’s us again. We know it’s been a while — we really try to keep this whole emailing thing to a minimum.

But we wanted to say hello this week, because LiveTaos just turned ONE! We’re so grateful for your support and enthusiasm over the past year; stay tuned for some exciting new developments coming in 2014!

In honor of our one-year anniversary, we’re making an effort to be chosen as Best Local Website in Taos in the annual Best of Taos awards. If you’re voting this year, please write us in!

And hey, keep in touch. This whole LiveTaos thing is designed to be a voice for our community, so please drop us a line! Email [email protected] anytime with your thoughts, ideas, comments, content suggestions, or submissions. We’d love to hear from you.

There’s some great stuff going on over at LiveTaos.com (and around Taos) these days:

The Reverend Horton Heat comes to Taos Mesa Brewing on Sunday (April 6th), with Two Ton Strap opening.

“The Reverend Horton Heat is bringing their charisma, showmanship, contagious energy, and iconic music to our dusty little town this Sunday night. One thing is certain: everyone who makes it to Taos Mesa Brewing for this show will be telling the tale to all who missed it for years to come.”

A Taos Day

Join Mel A. James and friends for a wander through Taos on an early spring day.

“After the hike, we drove the Rim Road back towards town. I used to drive this all the time and had forgotten how beautiful it is. The snow-capped peaks hovering over the dry mesa, the expanse of land and sky.”
