THE BLACK LILLIES

“With one foot planted firmly in Appalachian music culture and the other always expanding and evolving, The Black Lillies have created a unique sound embraced by fans old and young,” raves Vanity Fair – an apt description for a band that draws audiences as varied as indie rockers and traditional country music enthusiasts. Eschewing record labels, they’ve still managed to conquer the Billboard Top 200 charts, put three tracks in Country Music Television’s top 12, and win multiple Independent Music Awards. They’ve been invited to perform at the legendary Grand Ole Opry more than twenty times. Gentle Laurel Canyon folk, the honky-tonk heartache of classic country, winding jams and flat-out rock’n’roll. These songs will haunt your thoughts, rattling through your head like a crooked screen door slaps against its frame when a storm is coming.  5.08   Thursday Night | 8pm | 8 adv 10 door

TMB BREW NEWS

Lookin’ Sharp!
Jayson and Max take TMB on the road to Las Cruces for a beer fest.

Then on May 18th in collaboration with Moby Dickens, we will be hosting a book signing and lecture from Patrick Dawson, author of Vintage Beer. In Vintage Beer, Patrick Dawson explores the new horizon of aging beers to develop rich flavor profiles. Patrick shows readers how to recognize brews that are suitable for aging and to identify specific flavor changes throughout the aging process. With information on building and enjoying an aged beer collection, Vintage Beer is the go-to guide for any beer enthusiast looking to explore this exciting trend. This event will be commemorated by tapping two of our very own Taos Mesa Brewing aged beers: an aged Big Brown and an aged IHOP.
