Dear Friends,
The Taos Chamber Music Group has an exciting week ahead when we welcome Corey Dundee to Taos to present his new piece “Migration Miniatures!” This musical odyssey was inspired by the twenty-three year old’s road trip from North Carolina to Los Angeles, where he is currently in the composition graduate program at USC.
The commission was made possible by the Nina Elizabeth Nilssen Scholarship Fund for young artists, and in addition to the performances on Saturday and Sunday, TCMG will bring Corey to Taos High School and open its rehearsals to Enos Garcia students.
The jazz-inflected program also includes Ravel’s bluesy Violin Sonata, Ukrainian composer Nikolai Kapustin’s jazzy Trio, and Kenji Bunch’s Swing Shift, a nighttime jaunt through New York City. So plan on Jazzin’ Around with TCMG this coming weekend!

Advance tickets $22; $25 at the door; Students $12

Discount available for Harwood Alliance members at the Museum only.
