Dear Friends – Don’t forget that the American String Quartet is coming to town this weekend with two different programs at our own Harwood Museum in Taos! The Arthur Bell Auditorium will be a wonderfully intimate setting for the Quartet as they perform that most intimate of chamber music, string quartets, from Mozart to the present day. See why the Americans have been praised for a “unanimity of spirit and genuinely felt personal expression [that] speak straight to the heart.”
SATURDAY, NOV. 7, 5 P.M. PROGRAM
W.A. Mozart – Quartet in D Minor, K.421
Ludwig van Beethoven – Quartet in F Major, Op. 59, No. 1
George Tsontakis – String Quartet 7.5 (Maverick)
SUNDAY, NOV. 8, 5 P.M. PROGRAM
Maurice Ravel – Quartet in F Major
Johannes Brahms – Quartet in C Minor, Op. 51, No. 1
Ferdinand Ries – Flute Quartet in A Major, Op. 145, No. 3
