The Austing Haus is a charming boutique mountain hotel with Bavarian character located in the steep scenic forest of Taos Ski Valley near the ski area and hiking trails. We offer high quality and convenient après ski mountain lodging at reasonable rates. We offer delicious Hot Cooked Breakfasts daily and freshly baked cookies, Hot Apple Cider, Coffee and Hot Chocolate in the afternoons. A complete renovation of rooms and building infrastructure have breathed new life into the Austing Haus.
Just minutes from the ski lifts and resort village at Taos Ski Valley, the hotel includes 22 rooms and an elegant dining hall. The Austing Haus is a hand-crafted timber frame structure, featuring exposed rough cut wood beams as well as authentic rustic sawmill and ski mountain decor.
