Yoga Nidra is a gentle, guided practice done in a reclining position; the physical body is in a state of deep relaxation, while the mind is in an expanded state of awareness. It is taught that 30 minutes of yoga nidra has the restorative value of four hours of regular sleep.
Nothing is being asked of you, simply show up, get warm and comfortable, relax, breathe, and allow yourself to be guided on this deep journey. This is classic yoga nidra which may include sankalpa practice, chakra balance, or a journey through the five koshas.
