Visible Mend and Patch Workshop

Location: Venado Plaza – 94 NM 150 Suite #2, El Prado, 87529. Between the town of Taos and Taos Ski Valley.
Learn the foundations for mending! You’ll learn eight basic stitches and some techniques to start your project. Materials will be provided as you learn the basics in the first part of class. Then, we’ll move on to the repair steps in the second half of class; please bring a repair project to focus on.
When bringing a project to mend, please remember that woven fabrics (cotton, linen, denim) are ideal for this workshop however you are welcome to bring a knit (sweater, stretch shirt) as I’ll also give a short presentation on mending these types of garments as well.
Classes are in person only, with limited space.
Classes are non-refundable if canceled within five days of the workshop.
