Unitarian Service: Nature as Beloved, Nature as Self
Sunday, October 19th, 2025
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Price: free
Bent Masonic Lodge
Guest Speaker, Stephen K. Hatch
Stephen has developed a Nature-based version of Contemplative Christianity, which he calls “Wilderness Mysticism,” using images from the natural world as mirrors of inner spiritual experience. His family heritage is from the Pennsylvania Quakers and the Armenian Orthodox Church. He considers himself a practitioner of the Contemplative Spiritual wing of the 16th century Radical Reformation in Germany, which is a precursor to the “spiritual but not religious” movement of the present day. He identifies with being interspiritual.
