Please join the Unitarian congregation for this special traditional memorial service. In the tradition of “The Day of the Dead,” we will set an altar to honor those who have passed recently or long ago. You are encouraged to bring photos and objects that relate to those who were special to you. Share stories, if you wish. The Threshold Singers will provide music. This is a joyous and poignant opportunity to celebrate in community. Even if you have no one you wish to honor, come and be supportive. We have lost members recently through death or moves, and celebrating them together will be healing.
A reminder to account for the time change that occurs at 2 a.m. the night before the service. If you forget, you’ll arrive an hour early!
