About the exhibition
Like stars seen when pressing on closed eyes, or the transitional place between waking and sleep, Pressing on My Eyelids explores the involuntary visuals that emerge from internal sources. A tenuous composite of flickering lights, patterns, and vignettes which the mind strings together and seeks to consolidate.
Artist Bio
Ryan Crudgington is an artist based in Los Angeles, California. She received her BFA in Printmaking from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2017. In recent years, she has focused on painting and drawing.
