Discover the magic of New Mexico’s renowned dark skies with Heritage Inspirations.
Far from city light, the high-desert sky above Taos turns extraordinary, and this evening is built to savor it. You will gather inside Río Grande del Norte National Monument, nearly a quarter million acres of protected volcanic plateau and river gorge, pausing on the Gorge Bridge to watch the river run far below before the light fades. Settle into a chair under warm blankets while a guide traces the constellations, planets, and passing satellites, then brings the cosmos close through a telescope. Timed to the new moon and set at 7,000 feet, it is a night of pure wonder.
