Taos Hound Underground Fundraiser at Tractor Supply

Location: Tractor Supply, on the main road in Taos.

We count on our wonderful Taos community for support with caring for the pups at Taos Hound Underground and as our community continues to struggle, so do we.

Our Spring Fundraiser has 3 goals attached to it:
1. Raise at least $2500.
2. Schedule at least 2 new weekly volunteers.
3. Schedule at least 1 meet n greet for each of the adoptable girls.

We MUST meet these goals on April 12. Everything we currently do and will continue to do is riding on quality of life for Coffee, Nadia, and Gater and we need YOUR support to provide for them and future THU guests.

We are not a shelter, we can’t take surrendered or found dogs in, we can’t help find homes for dogs not in our care (heck, we are struggling to find homes for the 3 we’ve had for a year!)…our mission has been and needs to continue to be a temporary place for at risk dogs of Taos & Taos County to receive necessary vet care, food, fresh water, comfy shelter, and compassionate fear free care.

We have had to adjust to the desperate needs of the community (providing food, humanely trapping, helping with vet costs, etc) and we are happy to do that, but we also need to make sure those currently in our care have the very best while they’re with us. This is where YOU come in.

We are still working on repairs from the last two big winds. Nadia and Gater need new digs that won’t move around and don’t have canvas roofs. Each space is $599. We still need more fencing and help putting it up, more volunteers to help with the THU pups in order to spread time out for these improvements, and permanent fosters or adopters for Coffee, Nadia, and Gater as the neighbors dogs on three sides are greatly affecting their quality of life with no change in sight.
