Taos Chamber Music Group Elevated Baroque
Sunday, May 17th, 2026
3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Price: $24, $30
Harwood Museum of Art
The music of the High Baroque performed at an elevation of 7,000 feet!
As a period instrument ensemble, we perform this music as the composers themselves would likely have heard it in their day. We play on 18th-century instruments, using gut strings, at low pitch, and with a stylistic approach from the time of the compositions.
Program:
Handel: selected Soprano Arias (with obligatos)
Vivaldi: Chamber Concerto for Flute
Duphly: work for Harpsichord
Bach: Sonata for Violin and Harpsichord
Telemann: Paris Quartet
With Stephen Redfield, baroque violin; Kathleen McIntosh, harpsichord; Katie Rietman, baroque cello; Kim Pineda, baroque flute & recorder; Kathlene Ritch, soprano.
Tickets available through TCMG at this link.
