Taos Community of Love (Formerly Unity of Taos)

As we try to bring benefit into the world and to others, where do we begin? Luis Zepeda will lead us in discussing the necessary precursors of discipline, focus, and working with our own suffering as a foundation. Meditation is a vehicle that allows us to experience the full spectrum of life properly and fully. Though rooted in many religions, meditation is a secular practice essential for all—like daily exercise—with studies showing its significance for psychological and physiological well-being.
Louie is a meditation guide, yoga instructor, massage therapist, and elementary teacher. He has a degree in fashion merchandising and two minors in theater and business from the University of North Texas. He has traveled to all seven continents and over 80 countries, and has studied Tibetan Buddhism for 15 years. He considers himself a lifelong student and seeker of the truth.
