Taking the SOMOS Salon stage are Santa Fean poets, Katherine Seluja and Tina Carlson. Katherine DiBella Seluja is the author of two poetry collections, Gather the Night (UNM Press, 2018) and Point of Entry (UNM Press 2023). She is co-author with Tina Carlson and Stella Reed, of the award-winning collaborative collection, We Are Meant to Carry Water (3: A Taos Press, 2019). Katherine’s poem, “November Fruit” is on permanent display at the Helen Wurlitzer Foundation as part of the Taos Poetry in Nature project.

Tina Carlson is a New Mexico poet and a psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in perinatal mental health. She is the author of three full-length collections of poetry: Ground, Wind, This Body (UNM Press, 2017), We Are Meant to Carry Water (3: A Taos Press), a collaboration with 2 other New Mexican poets, and A Guide to Tongue Tie Surgery (UNM Press, 2023).
