Celebrate Pride Month with creativity and color in this Shibori and Tie Dye Pride Colors workshop. Shibori is a traditional Japanese tie-dye technique. In this workshop, participants will learn the art of Shibori dyeing and create fabulous rainbow patterns to honor Pride Month and celebrate diversity. Participants will get an introduction to the history and cultural significance of Shibori, create Shibori patterns by preparing fabrics, and dye the fabric to create a piece to take home. All provided, wear comfortable clothing that can get stained, bring a notebook and pen for notes, and bring personal fabric items you’d like to dye. Registration is $50 per person.
