STEMarts Lab is bringing in the first SciArt LIVE CODING performances to New Mexico as part of the Taos Film Festival. Alexandra Cardenas will perform virtually from Berlin at the Harwood Museum on Saturday evening April 25th from 5:30-6:45pm. Joining Alexandra in-person will be local VJ/ Artist MAGENTA.
In addition, the work of STEMarts Youth Ambassadors will be featured in this performance. Their pieces incorporate their research of galaxy data from the James Webb Space Telescope through a collaboration with LANL scientist Kelcey Davis. Kelcey will elaborate on the space science that informed the work, followed by a Q&A where the audience will be invited to ask questions.
