Anglo-American singer-songwriter Sarah Gillespie is renowned for mixing elements of folk, jazz, and Americana with her signature poetic lyricism. Born in London, UK she traveled the US by Greyhound bus aged 18 honing her craft playing on the streets. Since then she has released five critically acclaimed albums to widespread praise from the press for her poetics and unique lyrical phrasing mixed with elements of jazz, Americana and folk. She’s toured extensively across the UK, Europe, and the US, performing at leading venues and festivals including Blue Note (Milan), Ronnie Scott’s (London), CBGB’s (NYC), the Singer Songwriter Festival (Germany), and sold-out shows at London’s Southbank Centre’s Purcell Room.
