Santos Nuevos y Viejos: a Multi-Event Art Series Celebrating Santero Traditions, kicks off May 30 from 11:00 AM 3:00 PM with an art opening featuring a keynote presentation on the “Lady in Blue” by Lloyd Rivera and featured works by Carlos Fresquez, Luis E. Barela, Lorrie Garcia, Isabela Chavez, and more.
The exhibition remains open through the end of June. Designed as a free, inclusive experience for locals and tourists alike, the series promotes education, preservation, and creativity through a multi-generational, multilingual lens while celebrating the rich traditions and evolving influence of Santero art.
