Lights! Camera! Foster! hosted by SAFE Pet Partners, a FREE fun event shining a spotlight on the imperative need of crisis foster care for pets. Join us at the Taos Center for the Arts on October 2nd at 5:30 PM for an evening of community, connection, laughter, and learning. When individuals and families face medical, family, housing, or personal emergencies, caring for a beloved pet can become an overwhelming challenge. Crisis fosters provide a safe, loving temporary home for these animals, giving people the time and space they need to navigate difficult circumstances without having to worry about their pets. Become a crisis foster and help ensure that when life gets complicated, families in our community don’t have to face the impossible choice between getting through a crisis and keeping their beloved pet safe.
The evening will feature a chance to participate in a fun, interactive exercise that demonstrates what crisis fostering is really like and how a temporary commitment can make an enormous difference for both pets and their people. SAFE Pet Partners will also have a raffle with fantastic prizes, including an extensive dog gift basket featuring free dog training, a relaxing massage, and other exciting prizes. Most importantly, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about becoming a SAFE Pet Partners crisis foster and sign up to help local pets and families when they need it most. We’ll wrap up the evening with a screening of the hilarious canine classic Best in Show. It’s the perfect way to celebrate our love of pets while bringing our community together.
