Visitors can join Interpretive Ranger Kara on a guided ranger tour through Los Luceros’ historic district. Guests will be guided around the site and its buildings, like the nineteenth-century chapel, and learn unique history, such as how it was rebuilt by Luis and Eliza Ortiz after the previous chapel was washed away by the Rio Grande. Participants will also learn about other interesting characters from the past who lived and worked on the property. The tour is included with admission of $7/adults and free to NM Seniors and children 16 and younger. Note: The Hacienda is currently closed due to restoration, so the tour will not go inside the building.
