RAIN ON OUR PARADE is a communal celebration in gratitude for the live-giving rains and waterways that sustain us. Part party and part prayer/ritual, this 0.5-mile walking parade — full of music, games, storytelling, land connection, and many chances to dance — brings folx of all backgrounds together at the Taos Land Trust’s Rio Fernando Wetlands Park (TAOS, NM) on Saturday afternoon, September 26.
We’ll meet at the Garden.
With weekly community costuming craft parties at the TLT & Inspire Roots Schoolhouse leading up to the event, this is truly a communal coming-together in creativity and joy as a way to honor the water that connects us all.
