Pump Action, from the Frost School of Music (UM), delivers jazz-fusion brass-fueled funk rock with soaring vocals, blistering guitar solos, and relentless groove—precise chaos that feels like a “drunk backflip off a moving vehicle.” The Retrograde from Tallahassee adds disciplined, timeless indie-rock with classic textures, tight grooves, and a modern twist. Together, expect high-energy funk, virtuosic guitar, soaring vocals, and a love for great music—past and present. Taos’ Slush Baby (indie-punk) brings turbo-charged bite and catchy, distortion-soaked choruses.
