Floyd Archuleta is a lifelong Taoseño whose art is deeply rooted in the land, water, agriculture, and traditional ways of life of Northern New Mexico. A retired Town of Taos Director of Building and Parks & Recreation, longtime rancher, farmer, gardener, and acequia advocate, Floyd brings a lifetime of working with his hands and caring for the land into his artwork.
Visitors are invited to stop in, meet Floyd, explore his artwork, and learn more about the stories and traditions behind his work.
And keep exploring! The art continues down Hondo Seco Road toward Arroyo Seco, where Lis Darby is hosting additional artists with open studios and galleries along the way. Make an afternoon of it and experience a wonderful little corridor of local art, creativity, and Northern New Mexico culture.
