Taos Community of Love (Formerly Unity of Taos)

Gregory “SETH” Harris shares insights into how poetic language works and how that ineffable something some in Christianity call God is accessed not just through religion but in art, beauty, nature, love and service to healing of suffering. In a nonfiction hybrid, The Reluctant Messiah, follows the travels of a ragtag assemblage of poets, performers and provocateurs who dissect the ineffable – universally recognized but difficult to express in concrete language.
SETH admits openly to having a sordid love affair with language. His poetic memoir, A Black Odyssey, runs the gamut from the vernacular to the Elizabethan, pattern poems, free verse, prose poems, sonnets, to parodies of Mother Goose. His satirical novel, The Perfect Stranger, infuses every chapter with puns, malapropism, misspellings and clever, often poignant turns of phrase; a veritable love-fest of language.
