Obsessed is a one woman show documenting one girl’s initiation into womanhood. Starring Monica Marrocco, the show weaves together comical and emotional scenework, Monica’s original songs, and mythological stories. The show will shine light on what remains unspoken in our culture; showcasing the neuroses that arise from a disconnected world. It challenges the narratives that keep women from being able to actually love themselves and be who they are meant to be. A reclaiming of soul on stage, this performance is genuine, from the heart, and a prayer for the collective feminine to be reclaimed.
