Join us on Saturday, April 20, from 10 AM to 2 PM, for a FREE New Mexico Grown: Ranch to Institution workshop led by value-chain specialists Steve Warshawer and Mike Venticinque with the New Mexico Farmers Marketing Association. A FREE lunch will be provided!
Learn how to participate in the New Mexico Grown program and leave ready to apply for the upcoming season! Together we will dig into details about the program standards, strategies for meeting the food safety requirements, and approaches for marketing your products to wholesale institutional markets.
Special state funding makes it possible for New Mexico public schools, senior centers, and preschools to purchase meat and produce at fair market prices. Producers of all sizes are encouraged to participate!
