Ne Zha 2
Sun, Oct 12, 2PM (OCAP)
2025 | Fantasy/Animation | Directed by Yu Yang, Starring Lu Yanting, Damien Haas | 2h 24m | NR
A rebellious young boy, Ne Zha, is feared by the gods and born to mortal parents with wild, uncontrolled powers. Now he’s faced with an ancient force intent on destroying humanity, he must grow up to become the hero the world needs. After a great catastrophe, the souls of Nezha and Aobing are saved, but their bodies face ruin. To give them new life, Taiyi Zhenren turns to the mystical seven-colored lotus in a daring bid to rebuild them and change their fate.
“The colors, designs and fight choreography are so well articulated, even in scenes of such a colossal scale of action, that the film serves as a testament to the level of artistry in the Chinese animation industry right now.”
– New York Times
“Ne Zha II deserves all the attention and accolades: It’s an empowering film that makes you believe that you, too, can change your fate.”
– Seattle Times
