K-Pop Demon Hunters follows Huntrix, a top K-pop girl group (Rumi, Mira, Zoey) who secretly fight demons using their music to power the Honmoon barrier, facing a rival demon boy band, the Saja Boys, while leader Rumi grapples with being half-demon and falling for the Saja Boys’ leader, Jinu, all leading to themes of self-acceptance and legacy.
“Few films this year have been so complete in telling its story with fully developed characters, fresh action sequences, a positive uplifting message and ridiculously catchy songs making for easily one of the best films of 2025.” – Jeffrey Lyles, Lyles’ Movie Files
“An animated film showing you “how it’s done, done, done” — as HUNTR/X would put it — this is a stunning musical treat, a joy for all ages. Now warm up the vocal cords and bring on the sequel.” – Kelechi Ehenulo, Empire Magazine
