Taos Center for the Arts

Designed to equip the aging body with tools to navigate changes in both our internal and external resources, this class pulls from a wide range of movement systems to bring awareness to existing pain-free pathways and to discover new ones. Not bound by fixed technical forms, range of motion, coordination, balance and flexibility are supported and strengthened through creative play. All movements can be adapted for sitting, and encourage participants to show up as they are, exercising agency in their health and vitality. Exercises inspired by various somatic modalities including yoga, qigong, and creative movement. movementlab.dance
