magpie opened its doors at Overland Ranch in 2014. In 2015, magpie expanded into the adjoining room and began hosting solo exhibits, group shows and poetry readings. Over the years, magpie has hosted nearly 60 shows, including exhibits for some of Taos’s most prominent creatives.
In 2020, with the pandemic as motivation, magpie relocated downtown. Focused on color, whimsey and affordability, owner Georgia Gersh curates a truly broad and diverse collection of fine art, folk art, functional art and much in between.
magpie will host an Artist Open House the weekend of April 5th, providing an opportunity to meet many of the artists represented and get insight into their work. This will be the kick-off party to another stellar season.
