+ Creatives / Actors / Artists / Dreamers of Taos! Have you ever wanted to be an actor? Ever wondered what it takes to break down a script and transform those words into a connected and compelling performance? Have you ever wanted access to all of this information FOR FREE!?!

If so, please join Chris Brochu for one (or both) of two FREE “Intro to Acting & Scene Study” classes in TCA’s Encore Gallery.

In each class Chris will walk the audience through the “actors checklist” with a scene that he provides.  In this journey students will explore the steps every actor should know to navigate & create a grounded / truthful / memorable performance.

The two free acting classes will be followed by a 4 week series led by Chris, see TCA’s calendar to sign up for the series. 

About Chris Brochu – Artistic Statement 

I believe “process is forever” should be the motto of every artist. We should find solace in the fact that we can never stop learning, exploring & growing. My hope is to help actors, in every stage of their journey, navigate this abstract art-form while empowering & guiding them in their creative pursuit.

For the past 16 years, I’ve proudly served as a SAG/AFTRA actor.  You may have caught me in roles such as ‘The Big Cigar‘, ‘Zero Contact‘, ‘The Vampire Diaries‘, ‘Shameless‘, ‘Soul Surfer‘, ‘Dynasty‘, ‘Station 19‘, and more. To explore my full resume click HERE.
