How to Fall in Love with Dogen
Sunday, June 14th, 2026
1:00 PM - 2:15 PM
Virtual/Online Event
Why do generations of Zen practitioners keep returning to Eihei Dōgen—even when his writing can feel mysterious, poetic, or impossibly dense at first encounter?
In the lead up to our upcoming 30 Days of Zen: How to Fall in Love with Dogen program, join our teachers for this interactive conversation. Together, we’ll explore why this 13th-century Zen teacher continues to matter so deeply, how different teachers have each found their own “doorway” into his teachings, and what becomes possible when we stay with Dogen over time, in community, and through daily practice.
For those curious about the 30 day course, we’ll also share what’s new in this year’s program and why this format can generate such surprising depth, intimacy, and transformation.
Whether you already love Dogen—or have always secretly thought, “Please just get to the point…”—this webinar is for you.
