Taos Art Museum at Fechin House
Exhibit Reveals Intimate Belongings of the Fechin Family.
A discovery of personal items left behind and forgotten in the basement of the Fechin House by renowned artist Nicolai Fechin and his family led to a new Taos Art Museum exhibition. Seeing beauty in the dust-covered ephemera and a desire to share the discoveries, Taos Art Museum’s executive director Christy Coleman reached out to acclaimed photographer Zoë Zimmerman with an idea. The result is Forsaken Objects and Untold Stories, a stunning exhibition of photographs by Zoë Zimmerman. Opening June 21, 2024, in the Fechin House, the show will run through January 12, 2025.
