Foggy Memory Boys bring a wild, contemporary edge to string band music, shaped by deep bluegrass roots and a distinctly New Mexican sensibility. Drawing on strong lyrical storytelling, rich melodies, and tight harmonies, their sound blends traditional bluegrass with psychedelic flourishes and modern energy—what they call “Southwest Psychedelia.”
Formed on the legendary Stage 5 at the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival, the band has been steadily pushing to the forefront of the New Mexico music scene. Their live shows are driven by playful momentum, infectious chemistry, and a musical connection that feels both seasoned and spontaneous. Grounded in tradition but never bound by it, Foggy Memory Boys offer a fresh, high-spirited take on roots music that’s as expansive as the landscape that inspired it.
