The Sunset Series is a collection of intimate concerts showcasing a vibrant array of local and touring musicians, curated by Sarah Hart and Richard Aufrichtig.
About the Performers:
Tan Cologne is the music duo of artists Lauren Green and Marissa Macias based in Northern New Mexico. The two individuals work in sound and tactile forms, and are inspired by ever-evolving landscapes, near, far and unseen.
Tan Cologne released their debut album entitled “Cave Vaults on the Moon in New Mexico” on Labrador Records (Sweden) in 2020. It was listed as one of Gorilla Vs Bear’s “Favorite Albums of 2020”, Brooklyn Vegan: Indie Basement’s Best Albums of 2020, selected as a “Staff Listening Pick” on PASTE Magazine, & more.
Following, their second album “Earth Visions of Water Spaces”, entered the world in September 2022. It has been noted as a “low key shoegaze masterpiece” by Electronic Sound Magazine, as well as “one of the most influential records of the year” by Circuit Sweet, and Gorilla vs Bear’s “Best Albums of 2022”.
Luke Schneider is a pedal steel guitarist based in Tennessee. Over the past three decades he has established himself as an in-demand session and touring musician across the Outlaw Country, Indie/DIY, and experimental scenes in Nashville. Most recently he has found his place in the landscape of New Age and pastoral Americana music.
His well-received debut solo album, ‘Altar of Harmony’ (Third Man Records), is a collection of cinematic ambient compositions created entirely by pedal steel. In the years since, Luke has continued his experimental elevation of the pedal steel guitar and delved deeper into meditative and calming sounds.
Amongst many others, Luke Schneider has performed and collaborated with William Tyler, Hayden Pedigo, Orville Peck, Soccer Mommy, Margo Price, Lambchop, SG Goodman, and Peter One.
Diatom Deli is the work of Delisa (deli) Paloma-Sisk, a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Nashville, TN and currently residing in Taos, NM. Her live performance utilizes classical guitar, layered harmonies, synths, and samplers to create powerfully moving melodic soundscapes.
All sales are final and no refund will be issued.
