Learn the fundamentals of comedy writing and storytelling in this hands-on workshop led by comedian and TV producer Casey Skinner, whose credits include Netflix, HBO Max, and the Netflix Is a Joke Festival. We’ll break down how to find the funny in your own life, turn real experiences into compelling stories, and build stronger setups, characters, and punchlines. These skills can be applied to stand-up comedy, script writing, and story development across a variety of formats. You’ll also develop and write a story of your own during the workshop, giving you practical tools you can continue using long after the class ends.
