Barbara Rothman Photographs Opening Reception

Barbara Rothman divides her time between New York City and Taos. The Wright Contemporary is pleased to have a selection of her black-and-white silver gelatin prints. There is always something dreamy and mysterious about her subjects, even when she trains her eye on the most commonplace sights of the world around us, “My camera is my natural companion,” she says. “Searching for pictures satisfies my deep curiosity in the way we live, what we see, what is real, what we think beautiful, what deserves our attention.
