Join us for an artist talk with multidisciplinary artist Symin Adivé, the February 2026 Artist-in-Residence with The Paseo Project at Hotel Willa. Known as “the Woman of Many Hats,” Adivé works across painting, drawing, and installation, using gesture, layering, and material experimentation to explore abstraction as a language of perception, memory, and emotional space. During her residency in Taos, she is developing new paintings and works on paper influenced by the region’s light, landscape, and architectural rhythms. This conversation will reflect on her process-driven approach, the balance between control and spontaneity in her work, and how place shapes material and visual investigation. The event will take place on February 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM at The Gallery @ Hotel Willa, 233 Paseo del Pueblo Sur in Taos, New Mexico, and is free and open to the public.
