Matt Axton and his band Badmoon will have audiences kicking up some dancing dust at Mary’s Place at Taos Lifestyle next Friday September 13 at 7:00pm, the same day of Axton’s new release launch “Crazy City.”
Matt Axton is a West Coast-based Americana mountain soul, country, rock and roll troubadour. Matt boasts over 300 original songs, re-imagines classic covers and puts his own spin on some of his family hits (“Heartbreak Hotel” and “Joy to the World”) (see: Axton Musical Legacy). Matt Axton captures audiences with his rich baritone voice, his ripping finger-picking guitar and his witty storytelling; he puts on one heck of a show.
