Taos Community of Love (Formerly Unity of Taos)
Laura Davis, aka, Bogey, came to Taos in 1997 to join friends and musicians she’d met on her many trips here. Songwriting and playing guitar has been a passion from childhood and the music and concerts of the ’70s only deepened her love for playing and songwriting. Songwriting became a way to traverse the triumphs and trials of life but, throughout, it was clear that Spirit was always the at the heart of playing and songwriting…Spirit remains the magic of music. Music always has been and always will be a spiritual experience. Playing for others is a way to say thank you to Creator, as well as a spiritual gift she feels honored to give.
Professionally she’s worked as an OT at the Taos Living Center, having the honor of caring for the seniors of the Taos Valley, and she continues to work as an OT today.
