The Taos Lilac Festival takes place this weekend, May 18-20, at Kit Carson Park in Taos.
The free community event will feature live music; local food; beer and wine; arts and crafts; more than 40 local shops with lilac window displays; lilac (and art) tours; rides on Tío Vivo, the traditional carousel; a pet parade; taco cook-off; and outdoor expo.
