at GENE TORRES GOLF COURSE, LAS VEGAS, NEW MEXICO
FREE ADMISSION
The 10th Anniversary Synergy Fest manifests on June 27th and 28th in Las Vegas, New Mexico. This two-day collaboration features family-friendly fun activities, sustainable energy and ecology education, plus a rich variety of live entertainment, including over ten bands. The music lineup showcases both New Mexico favorites and national acts. Choice local vendors will be serving gourmet eats and craft brews, and admission is FREE!
Larger-than-life sculptures by David Lobdell and local artists add powerful dimension to the landscape amidst the array of fascinating and fun food, energy and ecology education, art and musical features on display. The festival’s many bands will perform on a solar-powered stage, created and engineered by Energy Concepts.
Friday’s festivities at the Gene Torres Golf Course will feature a Fix-It Friday by the Parachute Factory-Hacker Scouts (www.ParachuteFactory.org), followed by an Iron Pour Performance at the NMHU foundry, in which old scrap iron is melted and transformed into art. The Tri-County Farmer’s Market will be located on the Synergy Fest grounds Saturday, starting at 8am. (The market will return to the Saturday Plaza park location after Fiestas.) In addition, Synergy Fest will feature exciting live blacksmithing demonstrations by NMHU Alumni Lance Wadlow throughout the day on Saturday. The Synergy Fest creators have been at it for ten years, and this year will be better than ever. Come celebrate Momma Earth and lift awareness for a self-sustaining future, and jam out while you’re at it!
