In 2010, Cedric collaborated with his younger brother, Cody Burnside, and his uncle, Garry Burnside, to create The Cedric Burnside Project. They created a new genre of music by infusing Mississippi Hill Country Blues, Funk, R&B and Soul that will keep your foot stomping all night long! Cedric has performed and Recorded With: R.L. We’ve got two exciting brewing events coming up. Mark your calendars!! On May 3rd, in celebration of National Homebrew Day, the Taos chapter of the American Homebrew Association will be hosting “The Big Brew” at Taos Mesa Brewing. This is an all day event whereby all participants will be brewing one of three recipes. For more info about how to participate contact Taos AHA president Blair at 575-770-5403.

Then on May 18th in collaboration with Moby Dickens, we will be hosting a book signing and lecture from Patrick Dawson, author of Vintage Beer. In Vintage Beer, Patrick Dawson explores the new horizon of aging beers to develop rich flavor profiles. Patrick shows readers how to recognize brews that are suitable for aging and to identify specific flavor changes throughout the aging process. With information on building and enjoying an aged beer collection, Vintage Beer is the go-to guide for any beer enthusiast looking to explore this exciting trend. This event will be commemorated by tapping two of our very own Taos Mesa Brewing aged beers: an aged Big Brown and an aged IHOP.
