Greetings to all our friends! Things are starting to bloom in Taos, and we have news and updates to share with you for the spring season.
Scholarship Deadline Approaches!!
High School Scholarship application deadline is approaching! TCF is hosting 3 separate scholarships to High School Graduates wishing to pursue advancement of higher education. All TCF scholarships are multiple year awards, provided scholars maintain all grade and paperwork requirements.
Students may apply for multiple scholarships, provided that all listed criteria are met. Scholarship applications are read and reviewed by separate Scholarship Committees that utilize an evaluation rubric are part of the competitive application process. All application materials are available on the TCF website. Please submit completed applications to the Foundation office by Wednesday, April 16, 2014 by 5:00PM. Since July 1, 2014, TCF has awarded over $416,000 in grants to community organizations, and teachers in both the Taos and Mesa Vista School Districts! Give Grande New Mexico, May 6 2014
We are in the publicity stage of the biggest single-day fundraising event in New Mexico history, Give Grande New Mexico. As a member of the Community Foundation Coalition of New Mexico, we are bringing New Mexico’s first day of giving to life. We have recruited over 440 New Mexico non-profit organizations and we are connecting them to potential donors with strong traditional and social media efforts, along with government support and grassroots information sharing. Through easy online giving we plan to show the world that New Mexicans Give Grande for the causes they care about. As of next week, you’ll be able to browse all the nonprofits participating, and start selecting those you’d like to support on May 6 for our exciting celebration of giving! 18th Annual Ridge-A-Thon A Success
Thanks to all who pledged, volunteered and skied our 18th Annual event, we raised more than ever before with your help topping $31,500 in pledges, and we had a ton of fun doing it. Check out our photos by Photographer Kevin Rebholtz.
