Most of you are familiar with the annual Taos Wool Festival, held each October in Kit Carson Park. But if you’re the kind of fiber-lover who can’t wait that long, never fear! The Taos Fiber Marketplace is here.
This weekend, head on down to Taos Convention Center for a veritable fiber feast. Whether you’re an experienced knitter/spinner/weaver, have always wanted to learn, or just want to pick up some lovely handmade gifts, there’s something for everyone.
And don’t just go to shop — pack up your current fiber project and bring it down. There’s a big sitting area by Rio Grande Hall where you’re encouraged to come sit and work, with new and old friends — share techniques, learn new ones, and finally make some progress on that project that’s been gathering dust in your knitting bag!
See a list of vendors here (or better yet, get on over there and meet them in person).
